I heard words of praise and encouragement. I saw lots of smiles and positive body language.
Today I was observing one of my amazing teachers, Rachel, at one of our yoga schools. As she taught the Mudras and poses to the students I noticed how light and happy the energy was in the room. I observed the paras helping the students, I watch the Co teacher work quietly with a few students. I heard words of praise and encouragement. I saw lots of smiles and positive body language.
And then, I found the root of it. I saw the teacher. I noticed how light and happy her energy was. I watched as she helped one of her students with so much care (see the attached pictures) and I heard her language or praise and encouragement. And finally, I saw her smile and caring body language.
Happy teachers do change the world.
Happy teachers like Kristie make it all go smooth. She is the root of that 4th grade tree. The leaves of her classroom are beautiful and full of life because of HER! She has created a luscious forest of leaves ready to fall and land in a beautiful place because of their experience in her classroom.
Her happiness is contagious. It spread from the root of her trunk, to the branches she grew and out to the limbs her leaves hang from. Her paras caught her happiness and so have her students.
